A sample of my crochet

I spent the past month working on a baby blanket and hat for a workout friend. She is always so cheerful and friendly, and I enjoy doing stuff like this for people. So here's what I made:

My friend wanted multiple shades of blue with orange as an accent. Her theme is ocean, so I chose a wave pattern and a variegated cotton yarn from Hobby Lobby. I still have plenty of yarn, so it will go in my stash for some future project.
